Another contractor was replacing and upgrading a shower for us. They recommended Nohavec Plumbing who came on time and did good work. Very happy with that. To move a drain and put in a new shower valve they spent about an hour and a half (2 visits)....MAYBE 2 hours tops. Their rate is $116/hour. We were billed $425 for labor. I called and was told it was in error and reduced to $360. Still way more than the time they spent here. I was told they charge for drive time from the shop, and even though the second visit took a total of about 10 minutes....they charge for a full hour. $360 labor for about an hour and a half of work....pretty expensive....
I called them based on my parents' recommendation. I was told they would call me back. By that evening, no call back and our sinks were overflowing. I called. Said they'd call me back. No call back. I called again & they said someone would be there in the a.m. No one showed this a.m. so I called and they said they'd call me back. No call back. I called again & was told I was on the schedule for tomorrow. I cancelled at that point.
Nohavec Plumbing installed the plumbing in my house ten years ago, and since then the company has promptly responded to all of my requests. Last week James replaced a warranteed water heater and did extra work that I asked for. The charge for this work was very fair.
Bob Nohavec Plumbing got to our house right away and repaired a broken copper pipe. Very friendly technician. I would highly recommend their company.
Had a water heater go out in my home after 5 years. They came out right away and took care of it. Would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you for the great service.
