Interesting historical museum, we had a small group that took a tour of the museum with Cindy as our guide. She did a wonderful job in the exhibit halls and outside on the Traverse Trail. The Dakota history is educational. We especially enjoyed seeing the corner with the farming exhibit because we are from the Swan Lake area. We spent approximately two hours but could have taken a more in depth look at many areas.
A great place for a Holiday Fare!
Nice displays. Very interesting. Mental health facility has a good display. Also tornado display was great.
Nice building that displays history of the area. They also host special events for the public.
Kids enjoyed learning the history of the area here.
