Noel McKinnon did my hair and makeup from Beauty Boston for my wedding and she did an amazing job! I've had some horror wedding hair and makeup stories in the past so having her was a relief! I wanted a classic look that looks like me and she nailed it! She went above and beyond to help me relax on the day of the wedding and making sure I wasn't ready too early! She was very professional, had great advice, helped me relax, and made me feel beautiful! Thank you Beauty Boston and Noel!

I hired Special Event Beauty to do hair and makeup for my wedding, and I am so happy I did! It was very easy to contact someone and I felt very comfortable talking to them and asking questions and I felt confident they knew what I was looking for. The day of the wedding Kim came to do makeup and Kerry came to do hair for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother. They arrived with plenty of time to spare and were very professional, easy-going, and fun to be around. Kim and Kerry did such a fabulous job with everyone and really took their time to make sure the looks were perfect and were exactly what each girl was looking for. I couldn't be any happier with my hair and makeup, I felt so beautiful! We got our hair and makeup done very early in the day (just the way we scheduled it because of photos and such) so I was worried the looks wouldn't hold up throughout the day, but I was wrong! We started at 8:00 AM and by 10:00 PM, everything was still holding strong and looking great! I loved every minute of my experience with Kim and Kerry and I can not thank them enough for making my girls and mom even more gorgeous than they already are, and for making me look and feel so special for my big day!

I did a very last minute hair and makeup trial with Maryanne and Rachel a month before my wedding, and they were so wonderful about it. I’d originally planned to go with another company, but my trial with them was absolutely terrible and I needed to find someone else, fast. I’d been recommended to call Special Event Beauty, and they got me in the very next afternoon on a Sunday for my trial. I know the ladies had to rush around to make it work, and I can’t them them enough for that!nnMaryanne and Rachel came to The Groton Inn to do the hair and makeup of myself (the bride), my bridesmaids, my mother and soon to be mother-in-law. They showed up promptly, and even worked quickly with the inn to get a few taller chairs in our room to make their jobs easier. Everyone had a wonderful time with both of them, chatting and sharing a lot of laughs. It was the first time a few of them had ever had their hair and makeup done by someone else, and they put them at ease. Everyone loved the end results (including myself, after a bunch of little changes the day of - which they were both so wonderful about and didn’t make me feel badly for being so indecisive in the moment) and I loved working with them both - I hope that I get to do it again sometime in the future - you know, for someone else’s wedding ;)

You want these girls for your wedding day!!! Oh My goodness. Having special event beauty do the hair and makeup for my wedding on 5-27-17 was the one of the best decisions I made. They conveniently came right to our hotel which made my wedding morning very relaxing. They are THE nicest girls and they made sure every single girl loved the way they looked. They made sure to listen to what each person wanted and they made it come to life.
