A great place for a quick walk!
Amazing place to be! I shopped around for a while. Winter of last year my gelding was in a tough spot with the weather and Buffalo Ranch helped me get him into a safe haven. He’s been the happiest guy at the ranch, it’s helped him in more ways than I can say. Well worth it to have him there, best bang for your buck! Pasture time EVERY day, clean stall good quality shavings, we can ride around the property on the trails! All around such a great place! Gus the manager and Sadie the ranch hand make sure to take care of all the boarders! They keep the place presentable at all times, mowing the lawns, assuring we all clean up after ourselves. Barns are tidy and kept clean! Awesome place!!
Great kind managers and people! Great stables and arenas and the horses are well cared for:)
Bad place. I called and met the people there and everyone was so rude and uncaring. If you're looking for a place to board or ride, go to Serendipity Stables! They are complete opposite than Buffalo Ranch (in a positive way) I highly recommend everyone to go to Serendipity Stables!
I was told about this facility when I was looking for a place to ride and train my horses. I contacted Gus, the manager of the facility. The arena pass was very expensive compared to other arenas. It was $75 per month per horse to ride only. Being I work, I am only free two nights to ride, but because it was the closest arena to my home, I bought two passes. One for me to use, and one for my trainer. I paid for a prorated partial month for the last of December as well as the month of January. I paid over $200.
I own a straight two horse trailer and have not been able to load my horses by myself. My trainer did not show up and I was not able to transport my horses to the arena. Without my knowledge, my trainer showed up at the arena one time in December but took four horses with him. Gus did not contact me regarding this.
So, today, January 25th, I called Gus. I asked since I have not set foot in the arena at all, I asked if he would be willing to give me a discount if I were to sign on for another month. (I have hired a new trainer). He said he does not run a business that way. So, I paid him for 2 full passes and two half month passes and he was not willing to give me even a small break. Maybe I should not have expected a break, but he acted as if it was my responsibility for the trainer that I had hired and showed up with four horses, (none of which were mine). I don’t feel I should be held responsible for someone else’s behavior. Gus was impossible to work with and Due to his attitude and cockiness, I won’t use this facilities. He obviously does not value my business.
I highly recommend that if you use this facility, do not pay him until the day you bring your horse to work with here. Though my horses never used the facility, I ended up out over $200.
Thank you Buffalo Ranch!
