Great historical museum of North Eastern Maine and the various stages that life came about through history. Area was originally opened for lumbering, and then fishing for herring and sardines. Excellent picture collection of life here when the big ships came for trade purposes. Local volunteers very informed about the history.
A small and lovely historical site that is run by a fun and friendly crew!
Informative and comprehensive look at a fully restored Captain's home as well as an interesting look at historic tools of local trades. Recommend.
Looked really neat from the outside. Unfortunately I didn't get to tour the inside.
