They did an absolute stunning job of decorating for the holidays Park was phenomenally decorated and just absolutely gorgeous it's really happy that I stumbled upon it at night when it was all lit up.
I have to say I have met some fantastic police officers, but last night, I was very disheartened. I needed help. I called dispatch, in distraught because I had $140 stolen out of my wallet. She then had the two police officers call me and they were asking me what had happened. I felt like the officers did not care what so ever. They said they would check in on it and do what they can. I never got a phone call back. I was up all night sick to my stomach because as a single mother, $140 is so much money to me. I woke up this morning with no call backs, not even a voicemail. I just hope that one day we all come together as one and just help each other out no matter what the situation might be and take ever situation seriously. I am a person who loves people and trying to be a good person in the community. Thank you Farmington police station for trying to help me anyways, I am truly grateful. But I felt as a citizen I was greatly disappointed.
I have been through a horrific domestic violence situation. I called many times for help and I was treated as if I should not be calling them for help. Even though I had physical evidence on my body of physical harm. I went through the safe harbor crisis center for help which has helped me. I am appalled that a woman can go though such distress with a brand new baby and the trauma I experienced was simply unnoticed. I will absolutely never live in Davis county let alone Utah ever again. I finally got help from my home state. I seriously cannot express how traumatic my experience was with no help.
We have the absolute best police department and officers around. Not every encounter with them will be super fun (they are the police) but these guys truly care about the people they serve. Thanks Officer Cooper! Our brief interaction and your kindness meant a lot tonight
