This is a fun place and very peaceful place to sit on benches or at picnic tables for a lunch. There is a small parking lot and when we were there it wasn’t full. There are people here when we came but it is not mobbed. The lighthouse is simple but nice and it and the keepers house are well kept and pretty. You can walk out to the lighthouse on the walk bridge. The museum doesn’t open until noon and is open a limited schedule during the week. Museum requires masks and 6 people at a time inside. There are porta potty type restrooms and as far as ports potties go was clean and didn’t smell. The scenery out here on the point is beautiful and the lighthouse is way off by itself on the point. The only negative I could see was that the old lady that ran the gift shop was very rude and nasty however the gentlemen overseeing the museum was very nice and informative. Maybe they will replace the gift shop clerk! Everything thing else at the lighthouse was fine and well worth the visit.

Did not get a chance to visit the museum, but the view is what you go for! It is spectacular! The waves crashing and the sound of water running through the pebbles on the beach is heavenly, I could spend all day here. Fun fact, this is the lighthouse from Forrest Gump that Tom Hanks runs to on his cross-country trek. The rocks are really unique as well and fun to climb. Take your time getting through St. George as there are many pedestrians and portions of the road are one lane wide. No need to speed, the lighthouse will still be there.

Such a cool spot! Had to check out this iconic location featured in Forrest Gump, and it did not disappoint!
