This place used to be a schoolhouse for town children in the late 1800s to early 1900s, but now used as an occasional gathering place for retreats and meetings. The school keeper, Leah, is very resourceful and kind. I spent an hour looking around this one classroom school, looking at photos and explanations, and also solving arithmetic problems that were in the textbook back in the day. Cool place!
