Aveda Institute is an amazing option if you're looking to get a great haircut for a discount price. Today I got an amazing, professional haircut for $10 as part of one of their deals where Men get $10 haircuts on Tuesday's. The students here have impressed me more than workers at other professional salons due to the fact that they've always taken their time to get the best result they can. If you're feeling uneasy about a student cutting your hair, an instructor will assist them in whatever way they can. I've been a happy customer for 3 years at this point and would proudly suggest this for any hair styling or cutting needs. Also, if you're a man they're always looking for more practice with guy cuts in particular. So stop on by if you get the chance!

you WILL get CORONAVIRUS HERE!! this place used to be a nice place to go and I would come just for the treatment, but over the past year or two this place has absolutely fallen apart! They mislead you with promises and just want your money! They DONT CARE about you or the students... SAD very sad....

I used to love going to the institute. As a student myself, it was an affordable way to get a great haircut and help other students learn. However, today was the second time they had to cancel my appointment due to weather. I totally understand the need but then the girl on the phone was snotty and rude about trying to find a convenient time. We were basically looking at a month out when I had to schedule this appointment a month ago. My wedding is in 3 months and my plan had been to go in January and again 2 weeks before the wedding. Due to being canceled on, I had to settle on a super inconvenient time that I am just going to cancel. The girl was not helpful in rescheduling me at all and got huffy every time her middle of the day in the middle of the week appointments weren’t going to work because I work. I felt rushed to find a time and like they didn’t value me at all. I understand having to cancel but then you need to bend over backwards to get your client in in a timely fashion. I’ve been going to the Aveda institute for 6 years but I will probably not go back after this. And now I am in a panic because I need to get my hair done this week to stay on my wedding timeline. Completely unprofessional and I totally blame them for ruining my wedding hair experience!!!!

Don’t go to this place, it’s operated by a group of Commi-Capitalist who don’t care about the community it operates in. They literally care more about exploiting you as a cash cow than actually providing education and mentorship. But what can you expect from trash right.
