I’m a new resident in Le Roy and I love it here. My job requires a lot of travel and this morning I was scheduled to fly out of Bloomington at 6:30. At 5:30 I put my bag in the car soon to find myself with a dead battery. New to town, early in the morning and no way to get my car started. What a feeling. I thought for sure that I was screwed. And then I thought, would it be possible that the local police could help. They were the only one that I knew would be up. So I called, and believe it or not the officer said sure, I’ll be right there. I was amazed. A town and police department that still helps its citizens with stuff like this. Thank you Officer King, you saved my day. I just love this town!

The police in leroy think they can do what ever they want and get away with it. My truck broke down so I had it towed home and I had the right side of the truck parked up on the curb so I could get under it to work on it. I'm a big guy so I needed more room. It Sat there like that for less than 24 hours and the cops show up and tell me to move it or they will impound it. I know the laws I'm not stupid. That HAVE to ticket the truck the flag it and wait 5 days to tow it by law. They only gave me a few hours to move it. I had to come home from work to move it before they impounded it. So I lost out on money bc Leroy is money hungry and wanted to tow my truck. It's legally parked now and if they tow it I will sue the Leroy police department. They have no right to only gimmi a few hours to move my truck. Corrupt police force we have in this tow. I KNOW THE LAWS AND I KNOW MY RIGHTS. Leroy police department is not gonna walk all over me.
