I lived at the 176 Presidents Lane building for 5 years and could not have asked for a more responsive landlord. The location right in Quincy Center can't be beat and I felt the rent was very fair for the area. I dealt mainly with Paul for what few maintenance issues we had over the years and he always got things resolved ASAP without any of the runaround or BS that you hear about in a lot of Boston-area apartment buildings.nnFor example:nnI distinctly remember one time having a plumbing issue on a Sunday; I called and left a message with the answering service around 7 am. I was not expecting to hear anything until the next day, but by 8 maintenance was knocking on my door and by 9 the problem was fixed. How often do you hear about stuff like that? All of the building/maintenance staff were lovely to deal with, particularly the cleaning lady, whose name unfortunately escapes me right now, but she is SO incredibly nice and friendly.nnAnyway, bottom line is, if you're a good, honest tenant who follows the rules of your lease and keeps the lines of communication with management open, you'll have a great experience with Heritage.

I’m a tenant for the second year now and NEVER had any issues. From the beginning to now, Paul was very helpful and was always very quick to respond if I had any concerns or questions. The maintenance of the building is very well taken care. In 2 years I had just couple of minor issues which were solved right away. We always find the hallways clean and in a good shape. The apartment is very well taken care, and I would say it’s impressive, coz as far as I know, it’s an old building. I always pay my rent online and it’s very convenient. My life here is quiet and peaceful, neighbors are great and I have very little (almost zero) contact with the realtor office. I certainly recommend this place (fenno st building).

I was getting bitten by bed bugs at the beginning of month two, and I had never been bitten before. They insisted that I must have brought them with me, there’s no possible way. The hallway smells of a chemical/metallic burning smell regularly. Trash blows freely around the parking lot and collects around the building. You can smell the fertilizer plant if the wind blows from the direction of the shipyard, and it’s only a matter of time before the Compressor Station is pumping tons of pollution right next door. I thought the landlords were fair until they refused to negotiate with me despite the COVID-19 pandemic. They even had their creepy sounding attorney call me and basically harass me for payment even tho that is completely inappropriate at this time. I am going to contact channel 5 news investigates to expose their behavior. Unacceptable. Overall very negative place to live.

This guy just hung up the phone with me working for HERITAGE REALITY ASSOCIATES. Very rude after I asked him to email me back so I can see what apartment listing I looked at he hung up QUICK! I then called back and he then acted like he never spoke to me then said I thought I was speaking to Christine! Total scam agency if you didn't want to help DON'T POST !!!!
