We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we arrived in this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We had a lovely evening there with exceptional cooking and an experienced team and a talented cook. We added this place in our list and we shall no doubt go again soon. We deeply recommend.

I think disappointed is the best word I could use to describe my experience. The selection of food was so small. I felt like a child eating at an enclosed camp. Styrofoam plates and cups used. The food was either incredibly salty or overly soft and chewy. They even overcooked the mac and cheese and I didn’t think that was possible. I think this is the last time we’ll be coming here. Waste of money. I also don’t think they feed their coy fish. So many seems to have died and lots of them look at you like they’re hungry. Disgusting.

When the food is freshly made, it can be excellent. The problem is that these days, a lot of the food isn't freshly made and tends to be old and recycled. The hibachi is cooked by a live chef, which is a good thing. But if the raw ingredients aren't completely fresh, the results are going to disappoint. It gets tiring to try to pick out the fresh green peppers from a batch of mixed new and old green peppers, for example...

Been going to this buffet for years. The food is always delicious, the staff is friendly, the place is clean and the price is right. Well worth the drive from sunny Rockford, IL, I make sure to stop every time I'm in the area. Best buffet in the region!
