I had the most wonderful haircut today! Anabella (hope I spelt it right!) was sweet and thoughtful and listened to what I wanted but also gave me advice when I asked for it! She seemed extremely capable from the moment she introduced herself and she did not disappoint one bit. She also cut my bangs perfectly! She took the time to talk to me and answered my questions about how to look after my hair patiently and with clear evidence of a wealth of knowledge. Also, the salon was gorgeous and pristine and it struck the perfect balance between modern and classic. I will definitely be going back to Shiana Hair!

Had a great experience here! Really affordable and Christina knew what she was doing! I haven’t had a haircut in nearly a year and this was the refresh I needed! I definitely recommend it here

I went to Shiana hair this afternoon to utilize their promotional offering New Haven students free haircuts. I had a wonderful experience. They shampooed and blowdried, and the hair wash even came with a mini head massage! I had originally said I wanted my hair short, but long enough to fit into a pony tail, and then changed my mind and wanted it shorter, so that it wasn't touching my shoulders, and my stylist somehow managed to not only cut it to the length I wanted it, but I can STILL put it in a ponytail. I've never had a haircut this good before! I usually go to Great Clips or Holiday hair for a $15 cut, not expecting much, and when my hair is short I just know a pony tail won't be possible for a while. BUT, my stylist today not only achieved the length I wanted but cut it in some magical way that I can put my hair up. The pieces in the front aren't too short, nor are the little wispies hanging out from the nape of my neck. I'm so pleasantly surprised!
