Great old visit to the past
Camp grounds are over crowded, sewer smell is bad . Park is nice
I love trade days. I went for my first time ever last year with my boyfriend and i am counting the days til it is time for it again this year. We r thinking about doing a boooth of our own.
We walked the trail that goes behind the grist mill and it was beautiful. The end gets kind of swampy but the spillway on the creek is one of my favorite parts of the park.
Great place to take the family for a day of hiking, biking, fishing, and picnic. They have camp ground space towables and for primitive camping. There is a general store, a sweet shop (but I don't think it's open all day year-round), and many places to explore from the old mill and furnace. There are also rental spaces for private events. My only drawback is that the prices can be high if you have a small group.
