Impressive variety and quality of both hands-on and visual learning. Exhibits are imaginative and well maintained. Our granddaughter, who just turned two, was enchanted all morning. Staff was helpful and attentive but not intrusive. Thank you!
Absolutely horrible CHILDREN’S museum. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We have visited many other children’s museum around the country and some of what makes them terrific is that they have hands on exhibits that encourage creativity and let a kid enjoy being a kid, as well as allow parents to imagine they are kids again. This is a HISTORY museum not a children’s museum!!! It is archaic and appears that it hasn’t been updated since its inception.
I took my 2 year old son here not expecting much for him to do. I was absolutely wrong. Not only are there dedicated areas for the little children, but each area had appropriate things for him to play with and discover. This looks like a place we will be bringing him back to for years to come. We all had a blast.
We got our 4 year old son a one year membership and this was his first trip this year. He has been a few times before and was very excited to go. He had a lot of fun and we really enjoyed it as well. I was impressed with their variety of items. They have done an excellent job of keeping things clean and keeping social distancing measures in place to keep everyone safe. Every piece of equipment we tried was working without issue which was actually unexpected. Rare to find a place that has eveything in working order with all the people that touch it daily. Staff was very friendly and quick to clean things to ensure safety.
This place was amazing! You constantly see staff going around and disinfecting everything as well as enforcing occupancy limitations. They have sanitizer stations EVERYWHERE. The staff here is simply amazing. It was worth the hour and a half drive to get there. I will definitely be back!
