I entrusted James Harrison with the sale of my 84-year old Mother’s principle asset, her Dorchester multi-family residence, owned for some 52 years. Because of estate planning requirements, it’s was listed weeks before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. His advise on pricing, staging suggestions, willingness to use various combinations of virtual, multimedia and in-person marketing strategies and a thoughtful pricing scheme resulted in the house receiving 8 offers within two weeks of listing and while the pandemic was upon us. All of this was achieved while we sheltered-in-place in the Midwest.nnWith care, he guided us through the closing process. And when the 1st accepted offer was discarded dues to recently encountered financial duress, we were able to quickly turn to our second offer, negotiating a 5% top-up to the originally accepted offer to ensure we got the new market clearing price.nnJames is a seasoned professional, offering full service support, advice and turnkey real estate agency services. I would highly recommend him. His thoughtful, ethics-based pragmatic approach to his job is rare in these times. That combined with a patient, customer-centric style makes him a great real estate agent, who we would use again.

James did a fantastic job as our broker. His marketing plan of our property was excellent and we had multiple offers after our first open house, and even more after the second. Though our listing price was fair, we ended up getting several offers above the asking price which was a great surprise! James also helped us with a very quick closing, and had a great team to help with all the aspects of closing the deal. At the time, I was living pretty far away from the property and he took care of everything so I didn't have to travel for any aspect of the closing. I really appreciate the care James took with us to ensure we understood all of the offers we were getting as well as the pros and cons of each. It's rare to work with someone who demonstrates integrity in all his business dealings. I would highly recommend James to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

James helped me rent my unit for years. He was attentive to my and my tenants needs/issues. As an out-of-state landlord, it is hard to know who to trust when renting and re-renting from afar. James found me 3 good tenants over a number of years. When it was time to sell I used his company to great result as well.

James at Boston Bayside Properties knows everything there is to know about the process of buying a house. And that is where I felt I could 100% rely on him and leverage his administrative knowledge for dealing with a somewhat complicated process. We knew the house we wanted, but with Jame's help we would have been lost and most likely given up. Now, I'm writing this review from our new house... so it's an A+ from me!
