I called him at 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning and left a message. Kevin McGrath called back in 20 minutes. After explaining the situation, he said I'll come over between 9 and 10 AM, but he arrived a little earlier before 9:00 AM.nnWithin 20 minutes he had figured out a work-around to get it going temporarily, and explained that his son (also named Kevin) would check on getting a warranty replacement, and we could discuss this after the weekend.nnThe fact that he came right away, knew exactly how to fix it (being an older gentleman he knew some tricks the younger guys probably wouldn't have come up with), and on a weekend made it well worth the price. I would definitely give him a big thumbs up.
Lost heat to our home, called McGrath Plumbing and a person actually answered as opposed to an answering machine for most other companies. They responded quickly on a snowy stormy night, diagnosed and repaired the problem in quick order and had our heat back on in no time. The charge was most reasonable, more so for it being a weekend and a snow storm. It is nice to know there are still old school local companies which do great work for a fair price. Will use McGrath Plumbing in the future for our plumbing heating needs and definitely recommend them to others.
