Awesome museum. Great history of the Infantry, Armor, Fort Benning, Columbus and Coca-Cola! Plus a beautiful parade field and a representation of barracks life in the 1940s during World War II. They also have a memorial to the Soldiers that died in Iraq and Afghanistan. The military working dog display is heartbreaking.
It's a great museum with hours worth of content. My favorite part was the bayonet exhibit. I found it interesting how the bayonet changed over time, yet the way it was used remained the same.
My husband an I went too the Infantry Museum we enjoy going here an it's free.
Lovely place very clean worthy of the honor our freedom fighters
A wonderful dedication to our service men and women. A must see in Columbus, Ga.
