A very nice walk for our family of five. We are 6yo, 4yo and 2yo, although the two year old was carried on my shoulders most of the time. The path can be very rocky so wear good shoes but I saw visitors of all ages making the 1 mile hike. The furnace itself was a very nice bit of history with a lot of options for additional hiking. There were signs with plenty of historical information.

1 mile hike in the shade. Very interesting historical site. Only saw 2 people middle of the day. Good shoes or boots are a must. Buggy in several spots. Notice slag glass on ground in front of structure. Still there for 170+years.

This is one of the best trail in Coopers rock park. Best for both summer and winter hiking.

Nice little hike. Leads you to other trails. Great photo ops!

We went on the Fourth of July weekend, and it was warm. Trail was beautiful the whole way down, and got to see a nice little piece of history!
