Annie Riggs Memorial Museum is decent for a small town. The architecture of the historic building alone gives you some feelings of what's it like to be in the wild west. Read more about the artifacts and you will be intrigued.

Fun museum and we were able to learn about the history of Fort Stockton. We were able to also do the walking tour of the different historic sites and had a blast looking at the map in the museum and getting a glimpse into the past!

Done very well and interesting. A lot of good information and all of the exhibits in the rooms were done well and very readable. Okay

What a wonderful local museum! The price is right at $3 per adult and the friendly staff are happy to have you and very helpful. It's quite an interesting history of not only Annie Riggs, but the local area. They've done an exceptional job of restoring the antiquated adobe building, which used to be a hotel. There are quite a few rooms to visit with a separate focus in each and placards which give you a succinct and informative history of that focus. The wide surrounding porch is a nice place to sit and relax or perhaps picnic. We spent over an hour though you could easily spend twice that much time. Kudos to the Fort Stockton Historical Society for the job you've done!
