The Venue at Hometown Apartments

DO NOT RENT HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CHEATED!! My fiance and I found this apartment and thought that it was wonderful. It fit everything we wanted and more. This was at the beginning of the Pandemic Once we moved in we started to slowly notice some issues that would not be taken care of. Here were all the issues with living here just a Year!!!!n•tOver priced for what you getn•tMaintenance would not read the notes and enter my apartment when the Dog and cat were loose multiple timesn•tI would put in the notes for them to schedule a time that works where I Could put the animals away but it was always ignored by maintenance.n•tWe didn’t have awnings for majority of the time we lived there, The other building could see into our bedroomn•tNo one picked up their pets poop in the dog park and nothing was done about itn•tThe breed restrictions were not followed or enforcedn•tWhen they power washed, mud was pushed into our door which lead to into our apartmentn•tThe office staff would not handle the situations that were brought to their attentionn•tThe next door neighbor would have minors over to smoke illegal substances and nothing was done.n•tStaff seemed to have changed multiple timesn•tThere were no drawers at all in the kitchenn•tWhen we moved in you could tell the paint was fresh everywhere so anything that was put onto a shelf stuck and basically ruined it.n•tWe were sent an eviction notice during the time of the eviction moratorium for being $200 short on rent during a Global Pandemic, the office staff entered without a 24 hour noticen•tIt would take 2 days for the rent to be pushed through from a bank accountn•tThe Big reason we moved was do to the price increase after one year when I was assured at move in it would not be.nnThe office at the beginning was nice and helped us but once that lease was signed it went downhill fast!

Love the Venue and the team! They are always so helpful and nice. Parking is always good! I like the gates on the building and each building has its own mailboxes.

This property is everything I am looking for. I love that the stores are within walking distance and they have a dog park for my dog. I feel like I am downtown without the downtown price.

I love the apartment, the staff and the area but there are NO safety measures in place. Tonight is the second time I have been in an uncomfortable situation where I had to run away from weird men stopping by the gates. Literally no cameras and no security guard making atleast one round in the back parking lot at night. Very stressful and terrifying. I’m afraid to even come out to my car at night.nnEdit- THE Management and staff are working with me and are SO amazing and did not discredit my situation at all. I will definitely be resigning here even if the corporate offices refuse to add any cameras or security

Nice community! Jessica was helpful. The apartment had a big patio that I liked a lot.
