The SoGio Building

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had renting a venue for something so special to me. I rented a venue from Jordan and which was 375 and then also 375 for a deposit and a $50 cleaning fee. When I first arrived the building was very hot and keep in mind I’m nine months pregnant. Before renting out a venue it’s your job to make sure your guest are comfortable in which we was not. I called Jordan before my event started to let her know that the air was not working. 10 minutes later she called me back and stated that it is now working and that if we wanted to stay a little longer! Of course that was a nice gesture but as I came to the event the venue was still hot. My guest were sweating and asking if we can turn the air on in which we stated that Jordan said it would take a little bit for it to cool down. Two hours later the venue was still hot.Jordan stated I should’ve called her back but being that I have an event going on trying to entertain my guest having to open up gifts having to take calls to get people in the right spot was already overwhelming on top of her telling me I should have called her again for the same problem that should’ve been corrected the first time! at the end of the night me myself and a couple other people walk through to make sure that the venue was not dirty.When it was time to receive the deposit back it was $100 taken out of the deposit on top of a $50 nonrefundable cleaning fee because it was stated that cake was left on the patio and which the cake was never cut Due to it being too hot and wanting to just leave she also stated there were napkins on the floor in the bathroom. That was the reason they took an additional hundred dollars out of the deposit crazy right! She also stated that I needed to read the contract in which I did and which is why I’m not understanding why an additional hundred dollars was taken out for paper towels on the floor in the bathroom and I guess cake that was on the patio that was never even cut to begin with! watching you guys book with because some people are just money hungry!

I have been looking for a small office space so scheduled an appointment for 10am. I arrived and met in the lobby as I was told. Nobody showed up after 20 min so I left after emailing the girl I got the confirmation from. She calls me at 10:36 apologizing for missing me and asks to reschedule. Against my better judgement I re scheduled for 2pm I arrived 5 min early waiting around for 20 min without anyone showing up AGAIN. Guess they don’t want my business:(

This is Worse place to rent, i rented from this place almost a year now about 3months ago someone else bought the building which was fine no worries but then the problems begain they were very rude new owners constantly having issues with many of the people renting the offices. He towed all our cars and threw out stuff in our office in the trash FOR NO reason we paided our rent ever time on time. There currently being sued for stealing customers belonging and illegally breaking our lease while still taking our monthly rent. Do not rent from them. Horrible place and horrible owner.they have no respect for the tenant.
