This is a great place to come walk! This is also a great place to have any pictures taken! The whole trail is about 2 miles but there is a path that is only 1 mile as well! Lots of benches to stop and rest or enjoy views. The actual trails are not handicap friendly but the front of the arboretum is paved and wheelchair friendly! Beginner trail with amazing views! Kid friendly! The employees are helpful and the entire place is absolutely beautiful! Watch out for snakes on the trail though! I saw a few near the water bridges!

It was a very nice place to take my kids to play and have a fun filled family day. We went to take maternity pictures. It was great other than the heat.

Nice, peaceful location. Price is decent. Trails very poorly maintained. Signage in disrepair (see my pictures) or missing altogether. Very little information. Map not up-to-date. I was looking at some plants in the parking lot and was accosted by a staff member who thought I was trying to get in without paying. Seriously. Who's going to break into an arboretum?nI've been to numerous botanical gardens and arboreta, but this one ranks toward the bottom. However, if they upgrade the trails, the map, the signage and their public relations, they could have something good.

We enjoyed our walk through the forest and the gardens. At this time of the year, there is not much to see in the forest/bog area since it was late in November. So we will have to come back in spring.nHowever we enjoyed the war memorial, the historical home, the dream gardens etc. Certainly worth a visit.
