Fantastic school! There is a strong PTA that works a ton at getting the kids what they need. My kids have a school pride I never had as a child. It is full of kind passionate teachers and administrators.
We are huge fans of Bowie! We specifically moved to this area from Chicago for the excellent school & community. It was a wonderful decision. Both the school & community have been welcoming. The school continues to perform at a high level. We have made many friends we couldn't be happier our new home.
Great school,challenging curriculum, from the principal down to the kindergarten teacher's. By far the greatest staff. Always friendly, smiling and happy!! So glad to be part of the RISD!! My first grader is very proud to be part of the Bowie Family.
overall great but my only problem was that the P.E. class overall nonathletic focused on jump rope more than actual sports and exercise , but that was 5 years ago
