GHE is a fabulous school with passionate teachers that truly care about each student. I've worked for the district since 2009, our two young boys attend school in RISD and we are also residents of the district. I stand behind GHE 100%.

My son is autistic and this school sincerely cares about my son. They do everything they can to try and get him to learn. He has learned a lot and does things there he seems to refuse to do at home. I know this due to the work they send home that they did in the class. He will not do these things for me at home. No big deal add long as they are teaching him.nnOne problem I had was three days in a row they called for him to be picked up saying he had a fever. When I picked him up he did have a fever, tested with Flir thermal camera. The problem was within a few hours being home it would go back to normal. Next day same exact thing. Picked him up and fever went away. I did keep him home the next day just to be sure and he never had another fever. He did go back to school the next day without any issues.nnI'm not sure if they are cleaning the classrooms will enough and found it strange he would get better as soon as he was away from there. It hasn't happened since but it's something to keep in mind.
