We are zoned for Rosemont, but our neighbors kids are at Hogg. They seem really happy with the school. The principal is very motivated and the atmosphere at the school is upbeat and kind. The school is undenrolled, so class sizes are small. With a dual language immersion program, we considered having our son there, but we needed an after care option, and they don't have one yet. That may change soon, but for 2017-18, we stuck with our zoned school.
I love working here! I love the faculty, staff and administration, but most of all I love and care deeply about our students! We ALL do here at J. Hogg Elementary! This is one of DISD'S overlooked and underfunded JEWELS in the district. KIDD SPRINGS neighborhood and community ROCK in Oak Cliff!!!!
They are wonderful with the children and are just as great with the parents and grandparents!

Sucks they don't care they always blame stuff on my child and Mrs.Norma is so mean to teachers and students
