I love John! I've been going to John Carrera for many years. I have difficult fine, thin hair. John is amazing. He's so creative with color and is able to cut my hair to make my thin hair look fuller. I'm so thankful!

My hair dyeing experience was a disaster here. I showed the hair stylist Kendra a specific photo of the types of highlights I wanted and even said the colors I wanted but I just got streaks of a bright blonde color in my very dark hair, it was such a stark contrast, my hair looked like a blonde zebra. I went back the next day to get it fixed once more showing her the specific color I wanted again and again the color was way off once more; I wanted some nice golden caramel brown type highlights but the second time I got brassy highlights. Kendra simply could not follow instructions or understand my needs. I had to go to a second salon, subjecting my hair to more bleach and color dye for the third day in a row because I couldn’t walk around with that disaster on my head. I’ll never come here again and I suggest anyone else doesn’t either; especially stay away from Kendra who will barely talk to you and listen to your needs. I tried telling her what I wanted and she just said okay real quick assuming she understood but clearly not. I want my money back, total waste of my money down the drain.nnUpdate- even after contacting them and telling them about this situation they weren’t able to do anything for me because I went to another salon. As if I would have gone back to them for any more work on my hair after I lost my trust in them. What kind of logic?

I'm a natural redhead and have finally found a colorist who knows red hair! Kim is a knowledgeable, professional and talented stylist who listens to her client's to help them achieve a perfect hairstyle. I've received many compliments from strangers on my hair, which says a lot.
