Riding with my husband home one night we were pulled over on a backroad. The officer falsely claimed that my husband had failed to dim his headlights and that we had a blown license plate illuminator. He complied with all of their requests and answered all their questions. When I declined giving my ID because it was not necessary or needed the officer apparently got his feelings hurt. He made a comment about my being a smart aleck and detained us for 20 minutes. He then wrote us a ticket for the alleged illuminator light being blown. We checked it thereafter and found that it was indeed working.
