While not a huge country music fan, I LOVE music. The Ryman and it's history to country music is well worth the visit. Great architecture, history, and an acoustic that is outstanding! The self guided tour was nice. Would love to see a concert there in the future.
Super fun experience with photos included! Wonderful and informative introduction/history video at the start of your tour. Employees have a wealth of knowledge about the auditorium that they are happy to share! A MUST for any music lover and a historic visit for all ages.
Great tour, steeped in music history.
My mom and I came to the Ryman on Oct. 27, 2020. We came to visit Nashville from Chicago. I had to visit the Ryman Auditorium because its such a historic place. I've seen the Ryman in movies and I've watched the Johnny Cash show which was aired inside the Ryman. I never thought I'd actually see it in person. The Ryman is the Mother Church of Country Music. Inside is designed like a church which I found out once I got there it actually used to be a church. You can smell the history in the building. I saw a film about the Ryman and how it came to be which was interesting. There are exhibits of clothing of some of the performers on display which is interesting. Its a huge building and its very well kept. The tour was very nice and worth the money. My mom and I took a picture inside on stage inside which was a unexpected surprise. The staff there were friendly and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend anyone who loves country music or if you just like to visit historic places to visit the Ryman Auditorium. Great place to visit
Sound was awesome, beautiful place. No alcohol or snacks served due to covid and only 22% capacity. The Staff was so friendly. I would love to come back to go here again
