I’ve only been at Coastal for 3 months and all I can say is that this department is so corrupt. Their main job consists of handing out copious amounts of parking tickets that are NEVER less than 50$ and they do this and are so concerned with it because doing this will pay off taxes and help fund the school. I’ve seen people literally running out to their car as the officer was getting his moneys worth saying that they will move their car to a spot that wasn’t a visitors. MERE I TELL YOU THAT VISITORS GET THEIR OWN PERSONAL SPOTS WHILE THE STUDENTS THAT PAY 30,000 A SEMESTER TO GO TO THIS SCHOOL GET TICKETED FOR PARKING IN IT. I’m sorry but as you can tell I am extremely disgusted with the way public safety works at this school and the fact that I have up to 7 parking tickets(even though I paid for an everyday parking pass) is obcered and I hope people take the time to read this or else you will find them taking more money out of your pocket for their own greed.

CCU DPS is great. I was a student, and am currently employed on campus, and these guys are the coolest around. Always trying to work with students, faculty, staff, and community. If anyone says otherwise, it's just because they called too much attention to themselves, got caught, and are p*ssed at the world.

Wonderful and quick service. In a matter of minutes I gave them my vehicle registration and received my sticker for my car
