Great group of people, I always give their cruisers a wave if I pass them down 228 on my way to work in Weymouth. Don’t pay any attention to the negative reviews, they’re all BS. Hingham PD is a very respectful and community-oriented Police Department.

I just wanted to thank the Hingham Police Department for there help earlier this morning ! On my way to Weymouth to purchase a new tire driving down North Street my tire actually exploded. As I waited for my father to come help, with my 6 year old in the back seat, the nicest police officers came to help. One unmarked police car directed me to just pull over to the side while another police officer pulled right behind me. He was awesome ! I wish I got his name. He helped me get the tire out, was so incredibly nice and waited with us until my dad arrived and put the spare on. He stood in the road making sure nothing happened to any of us, it being a very narrow road the cars were coming around the corner pretty fast. I feel so bad I don't know his name but a morning that started off so terribly he quickly turned around. Gave my son a high five and we were off! Thank you very very much! All morning my son has been gushing about the police officer who helped us!!

don't call if you have a relative in some distress. they are not trained for nonviolent encounters. only war. against civilians.

They pull you over on holidays and steal your money because they think you're from out of town when actually you live here the Hingham Police Department is the most corrupt organization that I've ever known and then you have public officials want to come and tell me that I can't call them I got news for you walking to the Civil War

Way to go Cowboys. A young man is in his room, no harm to anyone else, other than himself and you have to act like a bunch of gun tooting kids that ends in him taking his own life. You spend thousands of dollars to control someone that is already in a controlled area. I hope the parents take your stupid ass to court and it cost the police department millions. Did you get a masters degree in how to make a bad day even worst? Way to go, I truly hope every night of the rest of your life you wake up in the middle of the night knowing that it was YOU that cause the young may to die. YOU COWBOY. Fu_ _ ing way to go Ass Hole!nnI believe this does come under my right of 'Freedom of Speak', or maybe you would like to control that as it seems you really know how to handle things.nnOH, and if your are interested, I have police officers in my family, They how ever seem to have a little better control than your bunch.
