We were hoping to see a museum with information on the Dust Bowl. When we called to get more information on the museum, we learned that it closed at 4 which was an hour before we could get there. The currator, Seth, was very enthusiastic about the museum and had no problem keeping it open for us. Thank you Seth, we learned a lot and were very glad to have the opportunity to see the museum!

Came up from the Oklahoma City area for a getaway to the Panhandle, and decided I'd include this museum on my list of places to visit. This museum is chock full of amazing artifacts and other trinkets found throughout the Panhandle. I think my 2 favorite sections were all the arrowheads, and the various crystals/rocks, but I found the museum as a whole to be quite fascinating, and I was able to get a lot of great pictures! Definitely recommend this museum for anyone interested in learning more about the history of the Panhandle!

This museum is more like a storage place than what you expect in a museum. Although what they had was interesting it needs a little more nurturing before I would call this display of antiques a museum. They have a good start but there is a definite lack of funds being put into the improvement of the place. It was free though so it makes sense.
