Had a late dinner here last Saturday night. They had the best steak, best catfish, best okra, and best hushpuppies I have ever eaten. The side of okra that came with our entrees was more than enough...they are very generous with their food.
The food here is pretty good, and service is good most of the time. Sit in a booth: the chairs at the tables are extremely hard. Visually a nice atmosphere, but the noise from the casino games is very annoying, so it's not a good place for a quiet conversation. You have to walk through the casino to get to the restaurant, and therefore through the noise and cigarette smoke. They have upgraded the filtration system, so it's much better than in early days, but the deodorizer is strong. Prices are okay, and there's a full bar.
Steaks have always been good and we have dined here frequently. There is a new pricing policy that they charge $2.99 for any change to your meal. For example my husband wanted fries instead of a baked potato that was an additional $2.99 and then he wanted a different vegetable and that was another $2.99. This was on top of his $25 meal already. This change was not made clear and it is very high for similar changed items. You don't expect this at an already higher priced restaurant. Unfortunately. we will be limiting our visits, if we dine at all here due to this change.
Had a great supper tonight. Food was fabulous and well priced. Have friends coming in from AZ next week and we are looking forward to going back.
Very nice atmosphere Justin up ding ding in from the casino to still have the blood of pumping, food and drink was excellent can't be a nice evening like this
