My wife and I built a house and moved in March. We realized that we had issues with hard water and sediment. I recently spent over a month researching different companies in the area. I had 4 difference companies come out and take water samples and provide quotes.nnRuss and his team stood out from the other companies that I spoke with. Russ has a chemistry background and has a vast knowledge of the treatment of water. The system that was installed has the longest warranty (25 years) versus the 5 and 10 year warranties on the products from other companies.nnWe recently had the system and could not be more pleased. No more sediment and noticed a huge difference in water quality from day one. It amazing the difference soft water can make when taking a shower!nnWe would highly recommend Russ and his team for anyone in the triangle who has hard water issues. The customer service was great from start to finish. The installers even spent time showing me how to service the equipment if I want to do it on my own and provided free media/material for me to use.

“I love our water.” I bet that not a day has passed since we had our Purologix system installed three months ago that my other half and I don’t say those words to each other. I cannot think of any investment in our home that we have been so thrilled with and I am glad we chose Russ and the team at Purologix for our new water system.nnWe are on an Aqua well and from the time we purchased our home, we noticed the difference between city water (which we had always been on before this house) and the well water. Fortunately, our water didn’t smell funky, but over the first two years in our house, we noticed evidence of hard water issues: stains on our shower glass, that gross build-up at the water line in the toilet bowl, clothes and towels that smelled “funky” even after they had just been washed, etc. Worst of all for me was that my hair had awful build-up that I couldn’t seem to wash away, no matter what I did. (Y’all, my hair felt HEAVY all the time.)nnWe had two different companies test our water as well as an independent test from a friend who works in water treatment. The tests all showed a serious hard water problem as well as some other water issues – metals, etc. We did our homework, compared prices, and chose Purologix. We got a water softening system and the reverse osmosis system for improved drinking water. To say we are happy with our decision is a massive understatement.nnAfter the system was installed, we tasted our drinking water and we were absolutely blown away. We think it tastes BETTER than the fancy VOSS bottled water we used to get on vacation. Now, every glass of water we drink tastes that good. We also notice that when we drink our beloved bourbon, it tastes even better because the ice and the splash of water are pure. When we make tea and coffee, it tastes noticeably better. Our water tastes so good that when we drink water at a restaurant, we notice that it’s inferior to our “home water.” In other words, the extra money spent on the R/O filter was definitely the right decision!nnAs for our tap water, we absolutely love it, too. When we wash our hands/bodies, the soap lathers better (so we use less soap) and then washes away cleanly. We actually feel cleaner after a shower than we did before and I swear that I need less hand cream/body lotion for dryness. Our shower itself stays cleaner longer – we don’t get the black stuff on the tile/grout that we had to scrub DAILY before. Our toilets stay clean and we don’t see that gross build-up at the water line that used to be there constantly. Our dishes come out sparkling clean – no spots at all. And one of the major differences we have noticed is that our clothes and towels smell fantastic. Our clothes washer is also REALLY CLEAN now – we ran a cleaning cycle with an Affresh tab after the new system was installed and all the gunk/build-up in the bleach cup and near the top of the washer is gone.nnThe Purologix installation team was fantastic – they followed all protocols for masks, social distancing, etc. and completed the install in a very professional manner. We highly recommend Russ and everyone at Purologix for their professionalism, friendly approach, and customer service. These folks are the real deal -- 100% highly recommend!

The team at Purologix are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Russ did thorough testing of the water, and recommended a system to replace our ageing and failing original system. A few weeks later we now have a whole new system and a lot more confidence in the water! The installation was really clean and tidy. We recommend them - they did a great job.
