My Son was profiled and pulled over and for going several hundred yards to a pullout to allow the officer and himself to be safe. He was given a citation for failure to yield...REALLY and the sergeant on the scene allowed this. Is this the type of treatment we as Utah citizens can expect when we try to keep our families safe on Utah winter roads??? Since the officer found out my son is working out of State and wont likely be able to miss work to fight the injustice in court. Therefore, I would like to know who to contact to see what can be done. This treatment of Utah citizens should not be allowed in this instance or in the future. I would hope safety for our fine officer and my Son is allowed and certainly not cause for unwarranted citation. The reason my Son was pulled over was because the officer felt he was in the Left lane too long when passing a car.So it seems if a driver does not speed to pass a car and cut unsafely in front of a car then he certainly deserves his citation to teach him a lesson for being a safe driver in Utah...Please help reverse this injustice The harrassment,lengthy detainment,and unjust citations by this officer and his sergeant should not happen to anyone
