Lived here for over a year. Cell reception is shady I was on the 4th floor. No cell reception in the main lobby area. Amenities were great. The apartment space is excellent, maintenance always came quick for my issue. I never used the pool. The gym is extremely stuffy and there is no air circulation in there making it very hard to workout. The only thing that bothered me was in the end they charged me for some scratches on the floor that were there when I moved in, even the leasing agent Marykim mentioned it wouldn’t be a problem during the inspection. So they took my deposit and sent the remaining balance to collection. So sad, I even asked Diego for pictures of the scratches and they were the exact 3 scratches that were there. I didn’t have any furniture in my apartment other than my bed and a couch with a gigantic furniture. If I were you make sure you go over the apartment during inspection and if there is anything wrong with the apartment makes sure you see it with your eyes that they write it down as prior damage prior to you signing the lease or else they will eat your deposit. I had to move over seas and told them I would be back as I had loved the place but after this shady move they pulled I won’t be back.

The fire alarm has gone off like 6 times in the last few months I’ve been living here. It has such a low threshold for what’s deemed an emergency and the fire alarm sound is the loudest I’ve ever heard. It brings so much anxiety and my ears and head hurt so much after it rings. Today it has rung 3 times. I’ve overheard people talk that this is sort of a normal occurrence. I do not want fire alarms that go off when there isn’t an actual fire, especially in the winter. Gables really needs to fix this.

I love living at Gables. It is convenient and nice. Feel like I have become part of family as is my 4th year now here. The leasing office staff are great and always try to help where they can.

It's honestly hard to find better bang for your buck than University Station. The apartments are modern and spacious, the building amenities are fantastic, and the location couldn't be more convenient.nnIt has a huge shopping center right across the street with so much variety, and a commuter rail station an 8 min walk away that gets you downtown in 25 min.nnOn top of all that, their staff is super friendly (shout out to Marikym and Kathleen!) and their maintenance team (Peter McGovern and Peter Bushee) is very skilled, diligent, and prompt in fixing things.nnIt's hard to find an apartment building with all of these things at once, so I highly recommend this place.

Great community in a great location. The living space and amenities here are very nice and all of the staff from maintenance to leasing are wonderful.
