Norwood PD has always bee courteous, polite and community driven. If you have any issue with an officer I would contact Chief Bill Brooks directly. He strives for his department being translucent, open and accountable to the community. Posting on here accomplishes nothing if you do not follow up with positive actions.

Pulled over at a Shell station in Norwood (as this is where I have my gas card), and realized it was closed. Only sat for a minute trying to map to a new one, when a Norwood police officer pulled up. He immediately interrogated us, not believing our story of why we were there and was generally incredibly rude. Completely made me lose my confidence in this police force, and I will not be contributing my usual Christmas donation this year. I cannot imagine how this would have escalated had we been a person of color, and that it completely heartbreaking to consider.
