Thank you to the Officers of the Statesville NC Police Dept. for an incredibly fast and courteous response to a potentially dangerous situation involving a transient that was wandering around in the back yards of the Vermilion Loop area on 10- 06-2019. I recently moved to this area and I am simply amazed at how your Officers here care about their citizens to assure that your neighborhoods are kept safe. We just moved here and are impressed. I had to call in a stolen SSN. I let them know this was NOT urgent. But an officer was here in five minutes: he was here and he obviously cared. No kidding. It is to see tax dollars well spent. Thank you Statesville!
Just watched a 1st amendment audit video on YouTube of the Statesville police department on YouTube. Awesome job done by Captain Ballard (sp?). Fantastic job, makes me proud of our police department.
SLOOOOOOOOOOW... Took 30 minutes to respond to an accident on a relatively quiet Thursday night. What if it was a actual emergency? What if it was a home intrusion or an armed robbery? Someone could have robbed me and spent all my money (sigh) and they still would have had at least 15 minutes before the police showed up. Very pleasant to deal with once they got there and I'm not going to give you a low rating because I understand there is a possibility that you are legitimately short handed.
