A policeman stopped by my job this morning and while I was cleaning trash up he had stopped me and asked me to come towards him. I get to the vehicle and he hands me a handful of gloves. He had believed I was cleaning the grounds without gloves on because my gloves were clear and fit tight on my hands. His actions were sweet and caring I hope he continues his good deeds.

The Mooresville Police Department does an excellent job policing our community and maintaining public safety. As a local business owner, I appreciate their vigilance. We’ve had many interactions with them over the last 7 years. All interactions were professional and effective. It is an excellent force and very well run. Thank you to all the officers who serve.

Excellent Police force. My son is a local business owner. The support the department provides is outstanding. I feel very safe in this community knowing these fine men and women are on the job.

Speed traps are abundant in this town. If a downtown town both feels and looks uninviting, like Mooresville’s downtown, then surely something is wrong and the local pd would have other priorities to concern themselves with than having an excessive amount of speed traps. I suspect this town has more serious issues than someone from out of town “speeding”. Goodbye perfect driving record! So much for truly protecting and serving. After learning that this police department is corrupt and going through a money grab situation myself, I have no desire to come back to this town and spend my hard earned money. What I would like people to take away from this rant is this, be vigilant and don’t even go five over the speed limit, otherwise you’ll most likely find a cop following closely behind you because they’re so concerned with meeting quotas and little else.

Stayed at a local hotel 3 time while on business this year and saw patrol car checking out the lot twice. Both times the officer waived at me. This is the kind of town I'd want to live in and appreciate the police vigilance. Other option is to live in Mecklenbug County where they let charged/convicted illegals roam the streets and endanger the public. Only one-stars here seem to be speeders who think they are above the law, and race-baiters who think they should get a pass due to their skin color.
