I called the dispatch when out of driving hours driving on my semi. I found a little beagle laying in the road. Someone had hit her and never stopped! She was hurt afraid and in need. These young officers were amazing! They were caring considerate and very gentle! Never in all the states I’ve been through, have I ever met such amazing humanitarians! These young men are a tribute to your community! The dispatchers to the responding offers were very caring! The young officer that responded was very compassionate and gentle even giving the hurt little girl a jacket to be placed on to help comfort her! Thank you so very much! I am still brought to tears by how amazing you young men were! Your families and community should have such pride for all that you do!

WPPD you guys have a huge impact on the community but people do not see that you are trying to help them. Keep doing what you are doing by making the city safe by doing YOUR JOB.
