I have to agree with the comments about the rudeness and the lack of caring for the job. If you do not like your job please leave and let someone that will be happy to work take your place. If your that unhappy QUIT. Dont take it out on the drivers.nn**Only dealt with 1 person at the facility, but the broker the customer seems not to know what is going on also to get the truck unloaded. ***nnI have to give one star to everyone involved on this load.

so,my step-dad passed away,I call and talk to HR to try and find out about bereavement...was told that I get 3 days,just make sure to call in..i did what I was told,come to find out,I wasn't told about the union rules when I called in the 3 days nor have I ever been given any kind of rule book from the union and I am not a member of the union..but after I come back to work I get told by HR that I only got covered for 1 day and pointed for the other two days which caused me to point oit..this is a bad way to run a business when if I would have known I would have came to work but I trusted what I was told by the front office..very sad about this as I enjoyed my job

I work for Mueller and like every job , you have your ups and down. All in all its pretty good place to work.

Extremely rude and unprofessional people here. Picking up a load of tubing weighing estimated 44k (can scale 48k). I told the loader where to center the load (53' flat), he still loads it further forward. I tell him that won't work because it'll put too much weight on the drives. I'm told to take it up with the supervisor who tells me I can strap and tarp the load, go scale myself then come back if it overweight. Thing is I'm going to NJ and am legal with only 1/4 of fuel. I'm not going to waste my time coming back untarping to move the load back when they could have done what I asked to begin with. But no they say we load trucks all day every day and we know what we're doing, how is this truck any different. Well it's a 4900 Western star with a heavy cab and it just so happens that I drive this thing for a living and know exactly how the weight distributes. Blue box is truck, black is trailer. Unreal.
