If you love Laura Ingalls this is a must see. Read On the Way Home before you go to understand how and why they moved to the area. It also helps you appreciate the work they put in more. We loved walking the trail between the houses, though it is a little bit of a hike, we got a sense of the beauty they fell in love with in the Ozarks. Fun place to see!

It is always fun to see and touch history. This is no different. To actually walk the land and home of Laura was a real treat. The rock house was very cute, and we'll maintained. The library book area is too cool, and now I want one.nnFun fact, her daughter had it built for her, and the plans bought from a Sears catalog.

Not what I expected, but had a great time. The history behind the home made it worth the trip. Staff is wonderful, our guide was very knowledgeable. Everyone should go a least once.

Great museum full of items from Laura and many of her family members. It was also really interesting to see the farmhouse that the Wilders lived in for the majority of their lives. Our docent was great and shared extra little tidbits. Glad we stopped!

Dealt with some pretty unfriendly staff there. Would have enjoyed the stay a lot more had they been more kind. Too bad our day here had to be tainted with not nice people. Interesting place to go as far as learning the history that's there though.
