Penn Station

Great station if you are visiting Baltimore. I visited the downtown and also the aquarium. MARC services are great to DC.nVery beautifully constructed interiors as well.

The station is let down by the unprofessional conduct of Amtrak police personnel, who spend most of their time standing around and chatting with each other. Some police individuals are incredibly rude and reflect poorly on their character as well as that of their department.

Not a lot of people inside due to coronavirus related restrictions (good thing) but the staff was super nice. The ticketing agent was patient with me (my first time riding a train and I wasnt prepares when I got the counter) and friendly. I decided to pick up some toy trains for my nephews from the news stand. After paying for the trains and leaving, I realized the toys had age requirements due to choking hazards, the stand attendant took them back and helped me find more appropriate gifts. Also, really good photos opportunities here. The architecture is great
