I'd love to show you the email when I reached out. I got an email it's from Michelle mosley who handles reasonable accommodations apparently.

I thought that as a single working mom that I could receive assistance because I am willing to do all that I can on my part to provide a stable and safe environment for my children. I work and go to school. I'm trying to put my daughter through college and put my son through grade school. I want to be able to raise them in an environment that gives them the opportunity to thrive. I never had a problem with housing up until now. I have been a voucher holder for quite some time now and the changes that they have made are not the best. The caseworkers and the moving process department seems as though all they want to do is the bare minimum and get their pay. They dont seem to have a heart. There's no humility behind their actions. In explaining to the office of housing thst due to their process myself and my children will be homeless in two days time. I understand they have a process and I know they are also aware that HCV participants dont come to find properties easily. Since the day my landlord told me I had to vacate at no fault of my own, it's just that he has to move back in the property because the housing program is not beneficial to him, I have been trying to obtain a property. That was I believe the end of May or the beginning of June. Someone just got back to me after countless dollars spent on application fees that are non refundable. Then the landlord expects me to pay for two months rent and a new security deposit plus my portion of the first months rent for a new property. I do work but I am on a low income program. They cant offer me any assistance or even advise on what I can do until the process is completed. Then they may not approve the new property or because I'm behind in the rent they may take my voucher and then if it is approved I still have to wait for the property to be approved. I have been on time with my rent up until now and the landlord wont compromise or budge at all I asked him to just keep the security deposit which is 3 times the amount of what I pay for rent. If I give him the rent he will turn right back around and give it to back to me as the security deposit. It doesn't make sense. I just pray that I can get help with the situation. I have never had an issue but this is disappointing. I have contacted the human relations department I am praying that they can help me. Hopefully as school is starting we won't have to stay in a shelter

You have to be persistent as a landlord. They sometimes make mistakes with calculations but if you point them out they make it right
