Rude and useless. Had a basic question about laws governing discharge of firearms and they were incredibly dismissive... like I was wasting their time. These days, these guys only respond to traffic accidents. Never enforce speed limits, traffic laws, or anything else. They burn our fuel, in our cars, driving like maniacs, but I feel less safe, rather than more safe. And even when I politely want to learn something, they are rude. Took me four calls to get to talk to a desk sergeant who could hardly be bothered.

The Trooper was very kind and nice. He was respectful and took care of the issues right away. The Troopers out of this barrack are great people.

the only people the Maryland state police are serving and protecting are themselves. the only thing they truly care about is taking your money by writing tickets. most of them are just on a selfish ego power trip.

Rude and condescending. I call asking for an officer to file a police report, and get chastised because I needed to call Balitmore County police instead . This barrack is right across the street from me. How is anyone to know which one they need? They are very pleasant when they call for a donation though.
