I have called many times the non-emergency number for the constant drug dealings behind the Reisterstown Sunoco which backs to Roaches Lane. A few years back a certain county employee had our road closed and now we get nothing but vagrants and young kids loitering and selling dope. Call and you wait and wait and wait and never get a patrol car. Once in a blue moon, a patrol car may show up, but its almost over an hour before anyone comes. Many have said I should call 911 to report drug dealings but I don’t find that appropriate because others need the emergency line.nnOnly once have I ever had Franklin officers respond in a timely manner and that’s when an individual was driving his dirt bike up and down our road like a bat out of hell. I actually got two young officers who arrived in about 10 minutes and took care of the situation. However, for the majority of the calls, I either get no one or a late arrival which by that time, the drug dealings are over with and everyone has gone home. So much for the justice system in Baltimore County.

Called several times to get help on what appears to be a crime in our comnunity and we were told that it was not their responsibility! What is the purpose of the Franklin Precinct if they are not going to help citizens?
