Fantastic place for open water swimming, with a huge new pier, a separate fishing pier with bench side seating, picnic tables and grills, pavillions, clean restrooms, a visitor center, multiple hiking trails throughout. It's certainly a great place for family time. Bring your dog after Labor Day or before Memorial Day and they can take a swim too!nCaveat: Be sure to take ample bags for trash as refuse cans are not available.nDid some fishing here. Nice!
This is where I go for peace and quiet. Also while walking the 1 mile road between the two parking lot up and back it is safe and the people go out of their way to be friendly. And the scenery is beautiful. Also the rangers are very friendly.
Love the park, great for a wildlife and photographers!!
Great seanery
A nice place to go for a walk/drive. Really pretty natural looking areas, walks through wooded areas and a nice waterside view
