The food at this place is absolutely amazing!! I always get the tofu bowl and I have never been unhappy. I also get two good sized or 3 smaller meals out of each plate, so it’s a great deal! Another dish ordered by my family a lot is the spicy neighborhood bird and that meal is also loved. The employees are always super friendly and will gladly give you an extra sauce if you want it. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could! A true local gem.

My fiancee and I went to get pick up from the restaurant the other day after hearing about it on social media. We picked up the spicy neighborhood bird and the broccoli tempura. Both were great, the bird was a moist crispy piece of chicken with a tasty sauce, and the combination of basil and cilantro on a bao bun made it unique and memorable. It was very spicy though so keep that in mind.nnThe broccoli tempura was great too, and we can see why it wouldn't keep though if you wait too long, so try to pick it up on time. They used cilantro and basil in this as well from what I can taste. It was an overall great experience! Definitely going back to try more foods later.

Take out only! Parking is pretty standard for the city. /// I stumbled upon this place at the farmers market! We hunted them down after that! Amazing food! Amazing service! Broccoli Tempura, Meatballs, and the Neighborhood Bird Bun are my top 3! Order it!

Edit: Tried it again 1.5 years later. It's better but still has room for improvement. Some of the tofu was hard, maybe from being fried too long. The tofu bowl was less salty but still too salty. It'd be nice if they added more sauce to it that was more substantial and less salty. Pork bowl still very salty too.nnI really wanted to like my tofu bowl but the salt was overwhelming. The pickle seemed like cut up jarred pickles. I could only eat a very small portion of my dish. My husband also found his pork extremely salty. Maybe everything else is good but I was really disappointed, considering their high reviews. :(

Look at this beautiful, delicious spicy bird! Just fantastic taste, generous portion (two lunches), and wow. My Mom got a shrimp tackle box - and she liked it!?! Loved the pickled vegetables on the side. Totally mind blowing and palette expanding for her. Can't wait to go again!
