Ridge at Blue Hills

I have lived at ridge for 6months now and absolutely love it here. You really see a difference when it comes to having any issues or questions addressed compared to other places I’ve lived. Management is always available to answer any questions and I never have to wait more than 24hrs for maintenance to answer and complete a service request. I love all the amenities they have to offer my favorite being the dog park and the fact that they offer doggy poop stations around the property! As a pup owner that’s such a plus because they really go the extra mile to make it pet friendly and convenient for us. I have read some of the other reviews complaining about pet waste but there’s really only so much management can do when residents don’t take responsibility for their own pets. When it comes to real questions and issues management and maintenance really do go the extra mile as has been my experience. I am really impressed and happy with my place and community and see myself living at ridge long term.

I’ve lived at this property for a few years now and what started as a really good experience has just gone downhill in the last year. When Adam was managing the property, things were attended to, the grounds looked nice and rules were in force to ensure all tenants a clean, safe community. Since Jennifer has taken over “managing” the property, everything has completely turned terrible. She is lazy, unresponsive, and has zero clue how to manage her staff with turnover rates so high, you can’t keep up. Maintenance requests go unresolved for months and tenants are lied to about the status just to keep them “quiet”. Jonathan, the maintenance manager, was once fairly decent under Adam’s leadership, but under Jennifer, he too has become rude, lazy and it seems he is annoyed by life. If a tenant puts in a noise complaint, Jennifer takes no action, and instead makes remarks that she “doesn’t believe the tenant who complained”. What’s worse is person who this tenant complained about, has several lease violations and yet nothing happens. However, when an African American family gets a complaint from their upstairs tenants, Jennifer makes it a point to leave her office and stand outside this tenants door just waiting to hear their dog bark. It’s disgusting. You can’t even walk on the grass outside because dog feces is literally everywhere. For as much as it costs to live at this property, please don’t. Take this from a tenant who has lived here for a long period of time. It isn’t worth it. They are breaking so many Massachusetts tenant laws it is unbelievable. We’ve already been speaking with counsel to determine what our rights are. Renters - beware.

I have been a resident at the Ridge for over seven years and I absolutely love it here. The staff are friendly, understanding and supportive. I feel safe and I enjoy the surroundings.

is nice place to live , apartments are nice & big, Maintenance do a very good job to keep clean all year .Management are friendly and help you if you need them
