just wanted to say thank you for officer Lowe and the lieutenant that responded to the call about hotel cart... thankfully they were very understanding of my situation and even gave me a ride .. a great example that some officers actually care for thier fellow community members... god bless them and watch over them
Ultimate rip, be careful not to speed through the intersections, the speed limit changes constantly and it can be easy to miss a sign for someone unfamiliar with the roads. $700+ for a speeding ticket is ludicrous. They must have a lot of nice toys.
Just want to thank the officer who was sent to help me when my '72 truck overheated today. You were a perfect example of an officer who truly cared about a member of the community and their safety.
Not sure if this is normal for domestic violence cases but if it is we need to break the silence and fix the laws and procedures to protect the kids and victims.nnPickens county Officer Jeremy Henderson responded to a 911 call from my kids while I was being attack by my spouse. I was scared of what my spouse would do to me or the kids when the police left and only told Jeremy that I had be repeatedly struck and the kids had been attacked too. I explained that I had tried to push my spouse away and had only hit back when I was bitted. My kids told him about the extensive emotional abuse they had been through over the last 2-3 years. My two oldest daughters described how I was sexually assaulted and hit several hundred times and bitten by my spouse when I was pushing them away during the attack. My spouse had even pickup our youngest child and had used her as a weapon to strike me repeatedly. My 16-year-old daughter couldn’t handle seeing her little sister being swung around and screaming for help so she pulled on the 4-year-old and repeatedly struck her parent in the face till the child was released and pulled to safety. My 13-year-old daughter described to Jeremy Henderson how her parent had laid/straddled her on her naked and repeatedly struck her while she was shielding the 4-year-old from being hit that her 16-year-old sister had just pulled to safety. My 13-year-old daughter admitted that she did swing back in a panic while being attack while her parent was laying on her. I was scared to escalate the situation and had only hit back 2-3 strikes when I was bitten in reflex. My 9-year-old also had a minor injury from the attack but I am not sure if that was reported to the officer. 5 out of 7 family members were involved in physical altercations with my spouse. Photos of my bite injuries and my 13-year-old that was covered with bruises were taken by Jeremy Henderson. My 13-year-old daughter had a panic attack in the front yard about what would happen to her when her abuser returned to the house.nnOfficer Jeremy Henderson’s response- informed the 2 girls (13yrs and 16yrs) and 2 noninvolved adult bystanders that he would be modifying the incident report by omitting parts of the incident. Jeremy Henderson said if the attacks on the kids were included in the incident report he would have to arrest them since they had admitted to hitting their parent and it didn’t matter that it was in self-defense of themselves and their 4-year-old sister. Jeremy Henderson placed me under arrest since I had protected myself and the kids. I was in shock and even repeated that I had only struck in self-defenses and Jeremy stated “if you do more than gently push back your guilty of a crime and will be arrested in Pickens county” and I responded with “I was gently pushing back but then I was bitten and reflexed to get my hand free because it was in pain”.nnIn the final incident report Jeremy Henderson wrote up he did label my spouse as the primary aggressor but attempted to charge me and my spouse with the same crimes. Jeremy Henderson said that me and my spouse were both guilty of battery and child cruelty since there was an altercation in front of the kids. Jeremy Henderson omitted the reported emotional abuse, the attacks and injuries on the kids. Me and my kids were sexually assaulted and or attacked by my spouse and Jeremy Henderson made us feel like we did something wrong by being the victims of domestic violence. NO charges were given to my spouse for the crimes against the 4 kids.
Thank You for the Welfare Check and phone call to Alaska.
